EARN

Money = options. Whether you’re trying to clear debt, build a bit of breathing room, or just stop feeling stuck — earning a little extra, in a way that actually fits around your life, is one of the fastest ways to get there.

You’ll find everything here from simple, low-effort wins to more ambitious ideas, including how I’m using AI to build income streams.

Start with whatever fits your life right now. You don’t need to do everything on this page — just the next right step.

Before You Start

Before you dive into any side hustle, a few small setup steps now will save you a lot of hassle later — and keep your main life a bit more protected while you’re experimenting.

Set up a separate email address. Use one just for side hustles, surveys, and sign-ups. It keeps your main inbox free of spam and offers, and makes it much easier to track what you’ve signed up for.

Consider a separate bank account. Many banks let you open a second free account in minutes. Having side hustle income land somewhere separate from your everyday spending money makes it far easier to see what you’re actually earning — and makes life much simpler if you ever need to declare income to HMRC.

Think about a separate phone number or SIM. Not essential for every hustle, but if you’re doing anything that involves giving your number out (reselling, freelancing, certain apps), a cheap second SIM or a free virtual number keeps your personal number private.

None of this needs to cost anything or take more than half an hour to set up — but doing it before you start, rather than after, will save you a headache down the line.

This is general practical advice based on personal experience, not financial or legal advice. If you’re ever unsure what you need to declare or how, check current HMRC guidance or speak to an accountant.
